KitKat is the chocolate-covered wafer bar created by Rowntree's of York in 1935 and owned by Nestlé since it bought Rowntree's in 1988; Nestlé makes it everywhere except the United States, where Hershey holds a licence.[^wikikitkat] This barcode is the "Big Pack" of 21 two-finger KitKat bars of 20.7 g, 434.7 g in all, each bar two crispy wafer fingers covered with milk chocolate (66 %).[^packingr][^euroffice] The 2020 wrapper carries the Nestlé Cocoa Plan logo and gives 104 kcal per bar; a redesigned "More Trees Planted" wrapper was photographed on a shop shelf in 2025.[^packfront20][^packnutr][^shelf25] Wholesalers list it in cases of 14 packs, and a hypermarket in Kuwait sells it.[^enatural][^pinoy]
In October 2025 Which? reported that UK KitKat two-finger milk chocolate multipacks had gone from 21 bars to 18, with the Ocado price rising from £3.60 to £5.50, and the UK office supplier Euroffice now lists the 21-bar pack as discontinued.[^which][^euroffice]
