Cocio Classic 600 ml is the 60 cl glass bottle of Cocio's original chocolate milk, made from milk with 2% milk fat, sugar and 1.5% fat-reduced cocoa and nothing else.[^off-img-1][^arlapro] The back label says it is made in Denmark by Cocio Chokolademælk at Øresundsvej 15 in Esbjerg, under the oval identification mark DK 4506 EC.[^off-img-1] Arla Foods, sole owner of the brand since 1 January 2008, sells it to Danish foodservice as article 49593 in cases of ten, with a shelf life of 545 days at 2 to 25 °C.[^arla-brand][^arlapro][^arlapro-pdf] The 2021 back label claims UTZ certified cocoa, while Arla's current data give Rainforest Alliance; both declare 309 kJ / 73 kcal per 100 g.[^off-img-1][^arlapro] Danish shops sell the single bottle for around 28 to 29 kroner.[^bevco-60][^online-kiosken-60]
Anker Pallesen started Cocio in Esbjerg in 1951, and production has stayed in the town through the Borden Food Corporation's ownership from 1976 and Arla Foods', which bought a half share in 2002 and the rest in 2008.[^enwiki][^arla-brand] Cocio Chokolademælk A/S is registered at the Esbjerg address printed on the bottle under CVR 35712011.[^cvr] A Scandinavian grocer in Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol also lists this bottle by its barcode.[^onlinebutikken]
