Spa Reine is the still natural mineral water of the Belgian brand Spa, sold here in a 1.5 litre plastic bottle with a French, Dutch and English label that names its spring, Reine, and S.A. Spa Monopole in Spa as the operator.[^off] The brand belongs to the Spadel Group, and Spa Monopole is one of the group's companies.[^wiki][^spadelpriv] Spa says the water spends two to three years underground in the demineralised rock of the Hautes Fagnes. It leaves a dry residue of only 38 mg per litre, among the lowest in Europe, which is why the maker recommends it for preparing baby food and for low-salt diets.[^spabe] Delhaize in Belgium and Jumbo in the Netherlands both list the 1.5 litre bottle.[^delhaize][^jumbo]
In the Netherlands, Spa's blue label made "Spa blauw" a common name for any still mineral water.[^wiki] The archived 2009 Barcodepedia page listed the barcode as an unknown item with "SPA reine" as maker.[^archive]
