This is the European CD and DVD edition of Devils & Dust, Bruce Springsteen's thirteenth studio album and third acoustic album, released on 25 April 2005 in Europe, a day before the United States.[^wiki] Columbia issued it as COL 520000 2 in a double jewel case: the twelve songs on CD, and a PAL bonus DVD with the album in PCM stereo and Dolby Digital 5.1 plus five filmed acoustic performances introduced by Springsteen and directed by Danny Clinch.[^discogs] Produced mainly by Brendan O'Brien, both discs were made in Austria by Sony DADC.[^discogs]
The album went to number one in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden and several other European countries.[^wiki] Columbia was then a label of Sony BMG Music Entertainment.[^wiki-sbmg] Discogs lists two pressings under this barcode, one whose DVD is titled "Bonus DVD" with German age-rating text and one titled simply "DVD" with matrix 5200002007.[^discogs-dvd] In September 2026 Amazon stores in eight European countries still listed it.[^amazon-de]
