No stubs were needed; the label brand, both companies and the family already existed. The structural change is that this stopped being filed as a generic non-food page. Artist, format, discs, catalogue numbers, label code, release date, genre, copyright and all eleven tracks were sitting in Specifications rows, because the entry was built before those fields were available to it. They are now in the Release and Tracks sections the schema provides for recorded music: Release carries the artist, the label and record company as references, the Wind-up and Epic catalogue numbers, LC 00199, media cd, one disc, the 2003-05-16 date, release country EU and a 44.17 minute runtime; Tracks carries the eleven titles with their Discogs durations and a note that the release itself prints none. Specifications keeps only what has no field of its own: the manufacturing code, the matrix and runout string, the mastering SID code, the rights societies, the packaging description, the retailer's dimensions and the recording locations. The most important correction is about identity. This barcode is not unique to one pressing, and the page now says so. MusicBrainz, which the lookup could not reach because musicbrainz.org answered 503, was retried directly and returns three releases carrying this barcode: the one already cited, which has no country and no date, a Swedish release dated 2003-03-04 and an Argentine release on Epic and Wind-up. Discogs holds two European entries under the same barcode, catalogue numbers and release date, distinguishable only by their format lines and sleeve notes, and both are now recorded as separate observations. Several further Discogs entries bearing this number are marked Unofficial Release, so the entry underlying this page was checked for that flag: release 372966 is Album, Stereo with no unofficial marking, and it prints the barcode twice, as Text and as Scanned EAN-13. Germany was removed from the countries of sale. It rested only on a Discogs note that some copies distributed in Germany carry an extra Pro7 logo on the front, which describes a pressing variant rather than evidencing a market, and no German listing printing this barcode was found. The two remaining market rows were both re-fetched and both still print the barcode: Rarewaves in the United Kingdom, sold out at EUR 8.95, and iMusic in Denmark at DKK 99.95 from a remote warehouse. Their disagreement with Discogs over the release date, and iMusic's 2014 date for its own record, are recorded rather than reconciled. New References rows: discogs-label, which gives Wind-Up's parent label as Wind-up Records, LLC and corroborates the corporate line, and musicbrainz, now cited as the barcode query rather than as a single release, since fetching the individual release answered 503 twice more during this review. Recorded as gaps: the shared barcode and the bootleg entries; the removal of Germany; the release-date disagreement; that no licensed photograph can exist because Discogs sleeve scans are copyrighted; that the cited MusicBrainz release still has no country or date; and that nothing public names the registrant of GS1 prefix 5099751. | Diff |
