## About <!--about-->
*Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By* is the European double vinyl LP of the only studio album by Lovage.[^wp-album] Dan the Automator headed the project under his pseudonym Nathaniel Merriweather, with Mike Patton and Jennifer Charles on vocals.[^wp-lovage] 75 Ark released these two 12-inch discs in Europe on 6 November 2001 under catalogue number AK5052, with 16 tracks over four sides.[^musicbrainz] Discogs lists Tommy Boy beside 75 Ark on the label, transcribes "Distributed by Tommy Boy Music" from the sleeve, and credits the Dutch plant Record Industry with the pressing and Howie Weinberg at Masterdisk with the mastering.[^discogs]
The album's cover is a homage to Serge Gainsbourg's *N° 2*, and it reached number 37 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart.[^wp-album] 75 Ark folded in 2001;[^discogs-label] later reissues of the album appeared on other labels with new barcodes.[^mb-rg]
