Mars 51 g under barcode 5000159565004 is the British price-marked edition of the standard single Mars bar, its wrapper carrying a yellow 75p flash: milk chocolate (40 %) with a soft nougat (32 %) and caramel centre (27 %), the bar Forrest Mars Sr. first made in Slough in 1932.[^wp-mars][^bestway][^off-shelf] One bar gives 948 kJ (225 kcal), and the recipe uses whey permeate, sunflower oil and palm fat.[^bestway][^off-back] The back names Mars Wrigley Confectionery on a GB consumer line.[^off-back] Bestway Wholesale sells it in cases of 48 with a 75p RSP, and a London convenience store listed it at GBP 0.90 in September 2026.[^bestway][^devo]
Better Retailing reported in April 2026 that Mars had cut its British single bars from 51 g to 40 g without changing the 75p price-mark, with a leading wholesaler showing the 51 g price-marked bar as discontinued.[^mars40g] Trade suppliers still listed this code afterwards, and Forrest Foods and Brand Factory give 5000159565011 as the code of its 48-bar case.[^forrest][^brandfactory] A 2024 photograph filed under the same barcode shows a wrapper with a football prize-draw promotion.[^off-promo]
