TiP Nuss-Nougat-Creme is a hazelnut nougat spread in a 400 g glass jar, sold under TiP ("Toll im Preis"), the entry-price own label that the German hypermarket chain Real carried for decades.[^wiki-tip] The label says it was made for real,- Handels GmbH in Düsseldorf and declares 13 % hazelnuts, UTZ-certified cocoa and no added flavourings; the actual manufacturer is not named.[^label] The photographed jar carries a Stiftung Warentest "gut (2,3)" seal from issue 04/2016, where 21 spreads were tested.[^label] The barcode was already catalogued in 2007 and 2008, on the old Barcodepedia and on Fddb.[^archive][^fddb]
TiP began in 1987 at Real-Kauf, a predecessor of Real, and Real advertised its switch from TiP to Markant's Jeden Tag label from 6 September 2021.[^wiki-tip] Real stopped trading when it closed its last stores in March 2024, so the jar is listed here as discontinued.[^wiki-real]
