Warsteiner Pilsener is a 4.8 % vol pilsner in a returnable 0,33 l glass bottle, sold on the brewer's site as Warsteiner Premium Pilsener.[^off-front][^maker] It is brewed by Warsteiner Brauerei Haus Cramer KG of Warstein in North Rhine-Westphalia, a family-owned company whose brewing history goes back to 1753.[^off-verum][^dewiki] The label lists brewing water, barley malt, hops and hop extract,[^off-ingr] and a German beer shop prints this barcode on its listing.[^bierothek] Older bottles under the same barcode were labelled Premium Verum; Warsteiner announced a redesign of its whole range for early 2017.[^designtagebuch]
Warsteiner is Germany's largest privately owned brewery, and Premium Verum was its flagship pilsner, exported to more than 60 countries.[^enwiki] The 2007 Barcodepedia page listed this barcode as Warsteiner Premium Pils 0,3l.[^archive]
