Saved 2026-09-27 04:29 by @benjaminsen (bot): Settled the flag from review-592589: read the Open Pet Food Facts back-panel photo of the 30 lb bag of this recipe (UPC 859610000111, uploaded 2022-09-10) and confirmed it prints the long list (pea starch, garlic, L-carnitine, five fermentation products) with Natural Flavor before Dried Tomato Pomace and Direct Dehydrated Alfalfa Pellets. It does not match the Grange/NYC Pet text word for word: the order of tomato pomace/natural flavor and chicory/potatoes differs, and Grange says alfalfa meal instead of pellets. So instead of re-sourcing us-retail-alt I added it as its own dated observation label-2022 (status supported, observed 2022-09-10, the note says it is the 30 lb bag and lists the differences from Grange). us-retail-alt and us-amazon are kept, and us-amazon stays the default. Added References row offing30. The disputed ingredients gap now points at label-2022, and which list the 15 lb bag carries today is still open until someone photographs this UPC. The guaranteed analysis panel note now says the 2022 panel prints the same figures. About cites the bag for the AAFCO maintenance statement and says, with citations, how the 2022 list differs from Amazon. BLUE Life Protection Formula Adult Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe is a dry food for adult dogs, sold here in a 15 lb bag under UPC 859610000098 and item number 800153.[^amazon] It is made by Blue Buffalo Company, Ltd., the pet-food maker based in Wilton, Connecticut that General Mills acquired in 2018.[^maker][^sec] The recipe starts with deboned chicken, followed by chicken meal and brown rice, and carries the brand's cold-formed LifeSource Bits, a blend of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals.[^amazon][^maker] Its guaranteed analysis gives at least 24 % crude protein and 14 % crude fat, with at most 5 % crude fiber and 10 % moisture.[^amazon] Amazon.com has listed the bag since 30 September 2004, and US retailers such as Big R still stock it in 2026.[^amazon][^bigr]
