John Denver Rare and Unreleased is a six-track promotional compact disc by the American singer-songwriter John Denver, issued in the United States in 2005 on the RCA and Legacy labels under catalogue number 82876 71065 2.[^musicbrainz][^discogs] All six songs, among them "Rocky Mountain High", "Take Me Home, Country Roads" and "Annie's Song", were recorded live at a concert in Cedar Rapids on 10 December 1987 and had not been released before.[^discogs] The disc says "Not For Sale" on the back and on the disc label, and Discogs notes that UPC 828767106526 is not printed on it; MusicBrainz lists that barcode for this release.[^discogs][^musicbrainz] In 2005 RCA was a label of Sony BMG Music Entertainment, which also ran Legacy, its archive label for RCA recordings.[^wiki-rca][^wiki-legacy]
