## About <!--about-->
This is the original United States double LP of Devils & Dust, the thirteenth studio album and third acoustic album by Bruce Springsteen, released by Columbia Records on 26 April 2005, a day after Europe, and a US number one.[^wiki] Catalogue number C2 93900 spreads the twelve songs over four sides of two stereo records, with inner sleeves carrying lyrics, credits and photos; it was produced mainly by Brendan O'Brien, mastered by Bob Ludwig at Gateway Mastering and cut by Mark Santangelo.[^discogs] MusicBrainz lists the same barcode as a US release of 26 April 2005 in a cardboard sleeve.[^musicbrainz]
It was Springsteen's first album without the E Street Band and his first with a Parental Advisory label, chiefly for the song "Reno".[^wiki] Columbia was then a label of Sony BMG Music Entertainment.[^wiki-sbmg] Columbia reissued the album on vinyl in 2020 under a new catalogue number, 19075978921.[^discogs-master] Amazon.com lists this 2005 pressing only through used and collectible marketplace offers.[^amazon]
