This barcode belongs to the 2003 hybrid SACD reissue of The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan, Bob Dylan's second studio album, first released by Columbia Records on 27 May 1963.[^wiki-freewheelin] Catalogue number CH 90321 came out in the US and Canada on 16 September 2003, remastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound with Steve Berkowitz as reissue producer.[^discogs][^mb] One disc carries both a CD layer and a stereo SACD layer. It comes in a two-fold digipak with an 8-page booklet of the original sleeve notes and unpublished 1963 photographs. The European issue has a different catalogue number, 512348 6.[^gem] Columbia is a label of Sony Music Entertainment, whose name appears on the copyright line.[^wiki-columbia][^discogs] Amazon Japan still lists the article under this barcode.[^amazon-jp]
In 2002 the album was among the first 50 recordings added to the Library of Congress's National Recording Registry.
