Extraordinary Machine is the third studio album by the American singer-songwriter Fiona Apple, released by Epic Records in the United States on 4 October 2005 after long delays and a re-recording with the producers Mike Elizondo and Brian Kehew.[^wiki] This barcode is the original US double-LP edition, catalogue number E2 86683, credited to the Epic and Clean Slate labels: the twelve songs spread three to a side over two records, pressed by United Record Pressing in Nashville.[^discogs-1267009] The sleeve reads "Manufactured and Distributed by Epic Records, A Division of Sony BMG Music Entertainment".[^discogs-1267009] Discogs lists it as the only vinyl version under this catalogue number, before the Plain Recordings reissue of 2011 and the Epic reissues of 2022 and 2023.[^discogs-master]
