Tim Hortons Hot Chocolate is an instant hot chocolate mix in a 500 g canister. It is sold under the brand of the Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons, a subsidiary of Restaurant Brands International since December 2014.[^wikipedia] The current red English/French label says the mix is prepared in Canada and is blended and packed exclusively for The TDL Group Corp. of Toronto. It lists sugars, modified milk ingredients and cocoa first and gives 190 Calories per 3 tablespoons (48 g).[^label-2025] The chain sells the canister in its own online shop,[^timshop] and Amazon.com lists it under this UPC.[^amazon-us]
An earlier brown canister, photographed in 2017, used hydrogenated coconut oil and gave 140 Calories per 2 tablespoons (35 g).[^off-2017] The USDA Branded Foods record from 2022 repeats that ingredient statement.[^usda] The barcode already had a 500 g entry on the original Barcodepedia in 2008.[^archive-2008]
