Del Monte Cream Style Corn is a Canadian canned vegetable: whole kernel corn in a creamy base thickened with modified corn starch, with water, sugar and salt, sold in a 398 mL can.[^pack] The bilingual label is graded Canada Fancy, says it has no preservatives and gives 110 calories and 230 mg of sodium per half cup.[^pack] An earlier can design photographed in 2020 printed 290 mg of sodium for the same serving.[^pack-2020] Canadian grocers Food Basics and Metro list this barcode,[^foodbasics][^metro] and Barcodepedia first recorded it as a 398 ml can in 2008.[^bp-2008]
In Canada the Del Monte brand passed to Bonduelle in 2018,[^bonduelle-2018] whose unit became Nortera in 2022;[^nortera-about] Nortera now licenses the brand in Canada only.[^nortera-brands]
