KitKat 70% Dark Cocoa is the Canadian four-finger KitKat wafer bar in a dark chocolate coating, sold in a 41 g English and French wrapper that reads "Dark Cocoa / Noir Cacao 70%".[^packfront] Nestlé has owned KitKat outside the United States since it bought Rowntree's in 1988 and produces the bars in Canada among other countries.[^wikikitkat] Nestlé Canada Inc. lists this UPC as "KIT KAT 4 Finger Dark 70%", in French "KIT KAT Noir", among the qualifying products of its 2021 Unwrap Game Time sweepstakes.[^snipp] The wrapper photographed in 2023 marks its unsweetened chocolate and cocoa butter as Rainforest Alliance Certified and prints 210 Calories per bar.[^packingr][^packnutr]
Nestlé Canada's own product page, as archived in February 2023, gave a different recipe beginning with cocoa mass and including soy lecithin and salt, 230 Calories per bar, and described the cocoa as UTZ-certified under the Nestlé Cocoa Plan.[^nestleca] An earlier wrapper, photographed in 2019, used a black and gold design reading "Cocoa / Cacao 70% Dark / Noir".[^packfront2019] Before this single bar, Nestlé Canada sold a 4 x 45 g pack of four-finger dark bars as KIT KAT 70% Cocoa, which its site marked discontinued by July 2019.[^nestleca45] Voilà by Sobeys sold the 41 g bar at CAD 2.49 in September 2026.[^voila]
