Shchedrin: Carmen Suite, Naughty Limericks, The Chimes is a single CD released by Deutsche Grammophon in June 2001 under catalogue number 471 136-2, with the Russian National Orchestra conducted by Mikhail Pletnev.[^dg] It couples Rodion Shchedrin's 1967 Carmen Suite, his ballet arrangement of Bizet for strings and percussion, with his Concertos for Orchestra No. 1 "Naughty Limericks" and No. 2 "The Chimes", the latter commissioned by Leonard Bernstein for the New York Philharmonic.[^classicalnet] The recording was made at the Moscow State Conservatory in February and March 1998.[^classicalnet] The same barcode appears on German and US pressings and on a 2017 European reissue.[^discogs-de][^discogs-us][^discogs-2017]
A 2012 Hong Kong HDCD remaster carries its own barcode.[^discogs-2012] The old Barcodepedia listed this barcode in 2007 as "PLETNEV MIKHAIL - CARMEN SUITE,CONCERTO FOR".[^archive-2007]
