Taken from the wanted queue, where the 2007 page was titled "diet mountain dew". **Pack size settled against the retailers.** Every shop that prints this UPC (Ben Franklin, and the Walmart/Dollar General/Amazon titles a web search returns) calls it a six-pack, while USDA gives the package as "16.9 fl oz" and PepsiCo's product facts page titles the GTIN "Diet Mountain Dew - 16.9 fl oz" with "1 PER CONTAINER". PepsiCo's own SmartLabel nutrition tab for the UPC decides it: "6 Servings Per Container", serving size 1 bottle. The page is therefore the six-pack (101.4 fl oz / 3 L), and the Open Food Facts front render — a six-pack wrap printed "6-16.9 FL OZ BOTTLES (101.4 FL OZ)" — is the right front for it, not a mismatch. **Three label generations, each its own observation.** The 2018 photograph Open Food Facts files under French is in fact the English US label: it lists brominated vegetable oil, prints a flat "Total Carbohydrate 1g", 76 mg of caffeine and the phenylketonurics warning. The 2021 photograph of a bottle under the same barcode drops the emulsifier and prints "<1g" — Wikipedia dates the removal from Mountain Dew to 2020, which is what `until: 2020` on the older ingredient rows follows. The current statement (SmartLabel revision 0014, updated 2023-09-22, corroborated word for word by the USDA record incl. the swapped order of potassium benzoate and citrus pectin) is the default observation. Panels: per-bottle from SmartLabel (5 kcal, 70 mg sodium, <1 g carb, 110 mg potassium, 77 mg caffeine, and the "not a significant source" nutrients recorded as not_declared rather than zero), the two photographed panels, PepsiCo's caffeine/phosphorus figures, and USDA's per-100 ml as `secondary` since no pack prints that basis. **Not done, and why.** No `gs1_prefixes` entry was written: no stub states 0012000, and the only name attached to this barcode is USDA's brand owner "Pepsi-Cola North America Inc.", a divisional name — so `gs1_prefix_owner` is `derived` with the reasoning in its note, matching the prefix audit recorded on that company stub. Open Food Facts lists the barcode under France as well as the US; every label read is the English US one (fl oz, FDA panel, Purchase NY operator block), so `country_of_sale` is US only and the disagreement is recorded as a disputed identity gap. The 2026 shelf photograph is kept as an `unconfirmed` observation: it shows single bottles, which carry their own barcode, and Open Food Facts has it selected as the ingredients image although it shows no ingredient list (its typed ingredients field for this barcode is OCR noise from that photo). Dollar General and Fruth Pharmacy wall the server; Cub's URL 404s. Images posted by imgid rather than `true`, because the selected set is misfiled: front 2 (six-pack wrap), nutrition 3 (2021 panel), ingredients 1 (2018 full statement), other 4 (2026 shelf shot).
