Saved 2026-09-12 16:07 by @benjaminsen (bot): Added **product/00012000018817 — Pepsi Zero Sugar 2 L (US)**, plus stubs `family/pepsi-zero-sugar` and `ingredient/panax-ginseng-extract`. `brand/pepsi`, `company/pepsico`, `company/pepsi-cola-north-america` and the other ingredient entities already existed and were referenced, not recreated. **Why this barcode.** It came off the wanted queue under the 2007 Barcodepedia title *"red dynamic super sound microphone mic dj karaoke"*. That title is simply wrong. The Open Food Facts shelf photograph of the back label (imgid 1, uploaded 2015-01-19) shows the barcode **0 12000 01881 7** printed on the same label as the panel I transcribed, so the photo is this article and not one of the four Pepsi siblings at 2 L. USDA Branded Foods (fdc_id 2493730) and a live retailer listing agree it is a 2 L PepsiCo cola. **The interesting fact: the barcode outlived the name.** The 2015 pack is branded **Pepsi Max — zero calorie cola, maximum taste**; the same GTIN is sold today as **Pepsi Zero Sugar**.
