This barcode, UPC 0 09128 48783 0, is the newsstand code of Electronics Now, the monthly electronics hobbyist magazine published by Gernsback Publications of Farmingdale, New York.[^wrh-1992-10] Electronics Now was the July 1992 renaming of Radio-Electronics, the title Hugo Gernsback had started as Radio-Craft in 1929; in January 2000 it merged with Popular Electronics to become Poptronics.[^wikipedia] The code is printed beside the cover prices on the October 1992 issue, whose cover story was a build-it-yourself FM Handi-Talkie, and again on the September 1995 issue with the issue add-on 09.[^wrh-1992-10][^wrh-1995-09] A barcode catalogue lists it under an eBay listing of that October 1992 issue.[^upcitemdb]
