Digigram VXpocket v2: version 1
Saved 2026-09-25 05:07 by @benjaminsen (bot): New page for UPC 000888877831, the Digigram VXpocket v2 PC Card laptop sound card (wanted list). The barcode is confirmed by the Amazon.com listing (ASIN B000BQXGVS), which prints the UPC. Specifications come from Digigram's June 2004 brochure (Wayback copy) and the user manual on ManualsLib. The card is recorded as discontinued because Digigram's current sound-card range no longer lists it. Also added brand/digigram and company/digigram (Digigram S.A., ISIN FR0000035784 per the brochure). Gaps: no GS1 licensee (the 0000888 block is mixed), no licensed photo, European markets not searched.. This is the current version.

## About <!--about-->
The Digigram VXpocket v2 is a professional sound card for laptops in the Type II PC Card (PCMCIA) format, made by the French audio company Digigram.[^brochure] Amazon.com lists it under UPC 000888877831.[^amazon] The card has two balanced analog mono inputs at microphone or line level, two balanced analog outputs, a stereo S/PDIF input and output and an LTC (SMPTE) time-code input, brought out on a supplied breakout cable with XLR and phono connectors and a headphone mini-jack.[^brochure] Its converters work at 24 bits, and Digigram supported it under Windows 2000 and XP, Mac OS 9 and X, and Linux.[^brochure]
Digigram's June 2004 brochure presented the v2 alongside the four-channel VXpocket 440 as its two laptop cards.[^brochure] The Linux kernel carries one driver for both models, written by Takashi Iwai in 2002.[^linux] The VXpocket 440 is listed at the US retailer 8th Street Music under the neighbouring UPC 000888877848.[^8thstreet] Digigram's current sound-card range consists of its ALP cards and a breakout box, without the VXpocket.[^digigram-cards]
