Nestea Red Fruits is a still, berry-flavoured iced tea sold in a 500 ml PET bottle and sweetened with sugar, fructose and steviol glycosides.[^offback] Its Austrian and Swiss label is signed "© 2013 Beverage Partners Worldwide (Europe) AG", the Nestlé and Coca-Cola joint venture that ran Nestea in Europe until it was dissolved with effect from 1 January 2018, and names Coca-Cola HBC Austria and Coca-Cola HBC Schweiz as the distributors for its two markets.[^offback][^wpbpw] Austrian trade press announced the variety as a Nestea line extension reaching shops at the end of April 2015, partly sweetened with steviol glycosides to cut its sugar content.[^regal][^produkt][^leadersnet]
The barcode is older than this label: the 2006-2013 Barcodepedia carried it as "Nestea Iced Tea - Red Fruits 500ml" in a page captured in January 2009, and what that earlier pack was is unresolved.[^oldsite] When the joint venture ended, Nestlé took Nestea back in most of Europe and Coca-Cola kept a licence only for Canada, Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria, so a Coca-Cola HBC pack for Austria and Switzerland did not outlive the venture; nothing later than the 2019 photographs has been found for it, and the entry is recorded as discontinued.[^wpnestea][^wpbpw] A 2017 Swiss trade sheet for the sibling Nestea Lemon gives the same Brüttisellen supplier address and has the 0.5 l PET bottles filled in Italy, as this label does.[^lyreco] Open Food Facts types 27 kcal per 100 ml where the photographed panel prints 20 kcal; the panels here follow the photograph.[^off]
