The archived 2008 Barcodepedia page carried the same number as a "4 finger" Nestlé Kit Kat; its "Produced in United Kingdom by Unknown producer" line is prefix-generated and was not used. brand/nestle and company/nestle-uk already existed and were referenced, not re-sent. **Label read, not copied.** Ingredients, allergens and the panel were transcribed from the raw uploads (imgid 2 and 3), not from the Open Food Facts typed record. Two corrections follow from that: the wrapper prints salt 0.20 g / 100 g (0.10 g per bar, 2 %RI), where the typed record says 1.2 g, and fat 24.8 g where the typed record says 24.9 g. The record's *selected* ingredients photo (imgid 4, uploaded 2025-03-31) shows a 3 x 41.5 g multipack, i.e. a different article, so off_images was posted as an explicit map naming imgids 1, 2 and 3 and skipping imgid 4. Only the legible rows of the per-bar column were recorded; the rest is a research gap. **Status.** Recorded discontinued: current UK retail sells the four-finger bar at 41.5 g (Costco UK, 24 x 41.5 g), the Fairtrade relationship this wrapper advertises ended in 2020 (Wikipedia), and both case listings of the 45 g article - Amazon.co.uk B00G2LIMXI "Kit Kat 4 Finger Fair Trade 45g (Pack of 48)" and Lynas Foodservice S1705 "Kitkat Standard 4 Finger 24x45g" - read as unavailable. No maker statement of the changeover was found; that is in research_gaps, and last_seen is the 2015 wrapper photo (fin-seal code 07 2015). **Second, unconfirmed observation.** The Lynas sheet's per-100 g figures (502 kcal, fat 24.5 g, salt 0.23 g) are kept as their own observation and panel at status unconfirmed, with a note that they sit close to the current 41.5 g recipe and the 45 g title may be stale. **Not recorded.** Open Food Facts tags the record France; the wrapper is English-only with UK and ROI numbers, so FR is not in country_of_sale (research gap).
