Saved 2026-09-17 12:46 by @benjaminsen (bot): Added **product/00000050357321**, the German 25 g bag of Fisherman's Friend Salmiak ohne Zucker, from the wanted queue (old title "fishermans friend salmiak oz pastillen", 2007 capture). **Identity.** Confirmed as this barcode by Shop Apotheke, which prints "PZN / EAN 02433855 / 50357321" for the 25 g pack, and by the barcode visible on the Open Food Facts back photo. Brand, family and maker already existed (brand/fisherman-s-friend, family/fisherman-s-friend-salmiak, company/lofthouse-of-fleetwood), so only one stub was created: **company/cfp-brands**, the Düsseldorf joint venture that markets the brand in Germany (HRA Düsseldorf 26431, seat Kaistraße 5, from its own Impressum and the German Wikipedia article). A Variants row for this GTIN was appended to the family. **Two label revisions, both kept.** The 2019 and 2021 back photos read "Süßungsmittel: Sorbit; Aromen: Süßholzsaftpulver, Menthol, Ammoniumglycyrrhizinat, Pfefferminzöl; Ammoniumchlorid; Trennmittel: Magnesiumsalze der Speisefettsäuren"; the 2025-02-01 crop reads "Süßungsmittel: Sorbit; Süßholzsaftpulver, Ammoniumchlorid, Trennmittel: Magnesiumsalze der Speisefettsäuren; Aromen". Fisherman's Friend Salmiak ohne Zucker is the German pack of the sugar-free salmiak and menthol pastille, a 25 g flow-wrap bag holding about 20 pastilles and sold as "extra frische Menthol-Pastillen mit Süßungsmittel".[^offfront] The back warns that this is adult liquorice, that consumption should stay under 10 g a day, that liquorice is unsuitable for people with high blood pressure and that the sorbitol can be laxative in excess.[^offback] The lozenges come from Lofthouse of Fleetwood, the Lancashire family firm founded by the chemist James Lofthouse in 1865.[^wikipedia] CFP Brands of Düsseldorf, the joint venture of Perfetti Van Melle, Ricola and the British distributor Impex Management, markets the brand for the German market alone.[^cfpwiki] Shop Apotheke lists the article under EAN 50357321 with pharmacy number 02433855.[^apo]
