Fisherman's Friend Salmiak is a sugar-free pastille flavoured with salmiak and menthol, sold in a 25 g bag holding about 20 pastilles.[^offback] It is made in Fleetwood, Lancashire, by Lofthouse of Fleetwood, the family-owned company founded in 1865 whose best-known product is the Fisherman's Friend lozenge.[^wikipedia] The Finnish and Swedish back label names Oy Arvid Nordquist Finland Ab of Helsinki as distributor, lists sorbitol, liquorice extract, menthol and salmiak, and warns that liquorice can affect people with high blood pressure and that sorbitol may be laxative.[^offback] The maker calls the flavour super intense and states halal and kosher certification.[^maker] Finnish grocers K-Ruoka and S-kaupat list the article under this barcode.[^kruoka][^skaupat]
