The bottler (MEG) comes from MEG's range page, and Lidl's ownership of the brand from Lidl's Saskia page. The number is a restricted-distribution EAN-8. The same OFF record also holds 2018-2023 photos of German Classic labels with the Wörth am Rhein analysis, and codecheck lists the number as the Wörth Classic. Those photos are kept as an unconfirmed observation with a disputed identity gap. country_of_sale is left empty: no retailer listing prints this barcode, and a 2018 Lemon Fool post (cited in About) describes Lidl UK's Löningen 1.5 l fizzy water changing to 2 l UK-sourced bottles. Saskia is the own-label mineral water of the discounter Lidl, and this 1.5-litre bottle carries an English-language label for its sparkling sort, drawn from the Saskia spring at Löningen.[^lidl-saskia][^off-front-2016] The front reads "Natural Mineral Water" over a SPARKLING band where the German labels of the same sort say Classic, and the side of the label names "Quelle Löningen".[^off-front-2016] The water is filled for Lidl by MEG, which bottles Saskia at its spring sites in Leißling, Löningen, Jessen, Kirkel and Wörth am Rhein.[^meg-water] The label's mineral analysis gives 12.8 mg sodium, 3.0 mg magnesium and 25.0 mg calcium per litre, with 45.9 mg sulphate, a far softer water than the Wörth am Rhein Classic with its 87.4 mg calcium.[^off-analysis-2016][^off-analysis-2023]
The same eight-digit number has also been filed with photographs of German Saskia Classic bottles, and codecheck lists it as the Wörth am Rhein Classic.[^off-classic-2018][^codecheck] In July 2018 a British shopper wrote that Lidl's Saskia fizzy water from the Löningen spring had moved from 1.5-litre to 2-litre bottles, now sourced in the UK.[^lemonfool]
