The stub was one sentence with one pack reference; it is now placed in the ingredient graph and sourced. Identity gains vegan: yes, vegetarian: yes, allergen: none and parent: ingredient/glucose-syrup. About was rewritten as a cited lede: it states that this is a labelling denomination rather than a distinct substance, that Article 2 point 5 requires the name when a point 7 glucose syrup carries more than 5 % fructose on dry matter with glucose still predominant, and it separates the page from ingredient/fructose-glucose-syrup, which is the same rule read the other way when fructose predominates - so the two stay separate pages. A second paragraph adds the isoglucose definition from Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 (at least 10 % fructose in the dry state, a different threshold from the labelling 5 %), the 2017 abolition of the 720,000 t EU quota, the Annex II 1169/2011 exemption that is the basis for allergen: none, and the basis for the vegan and vegetarian values.
