Agave spirit is alcohol distilled from the agave plant, used in flavoured beers as the alcohol carried by a natural flavouring. Polish Desperados Original labels declare it inside the flavouring as "naturalny aromat (zawiera alkohol z agawy (0,1 %))".[^zywiec][^blisko] Wikipedia records that the Desperados recipe was reformulated away from tequila to an agave spirit, and lists the beer's ingredients with an aromatic compound of agave spirit.[^wiki]
