Trident Max Splash is the Trident line of sugar-free dragée chewing gum built around a liquid fruit centre inside a coloured shell. The brand's Greek site lists a strawberry-lime and a spearmint 22 g pack under the name and describes the strawberry one as "Trident Splash Strawberry Lime", a sugar-free gum with a juicy strawberry and lime filling.[^trident-gr] Packs of the same barcode photographed in 2017 and 2019 were printed simply as Trident Splash, so the Max wording is the later name for the line.[^off-front-2019] Trident belongs to Perfetti Van Melle, which closed its acquisition of Mondelēz International's gum business in the United States, Canada and Europe on 2 October 2023.[^pvm-2023]
