Falco's album *Out of the Dark (Into the Light)* across its editions, first released in February 1998, three weeks after the singer's death; its working title had been "Egoisten".[^wikipedia] The first CD appeared on Electrola.[^musicbrainz] Discogs groups 24 versions under one master, among them 1998 issues from Europe, Poland, Taiwan, South Korea and Indonesia, a 2009 digital release, a 2012 German reissue, a 2017 LP and several unofficial pressings.[^discogs-master]
