	38	+	Kraft Singles White American is the white variety of the American slices in the Kraft Singles line of individually wrapped processed cheese, made by Kraft Heinz and sold in the United States.[^kh-wa12] It is labelled Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, is made mainly from cheddar cheese, skim milk, whey, milkfat and milk protein concentrate, and has 50 calories in each 21 g slice.[^kh-wa12] Kraft Heinz sells it in packs of 16, 24, 72 and 96 slices, from 12 oz to 4 lb.[^kh-wa16][^kh-wa4lb] In February 2014 Kraft said it would replace the preservative sorbic acid with the mould inhibitor natamycin in its full-fat American and White American Singles, which it said made up most of the brand's sales.[^cbs-2014][^upi-2014] The ingredient list on the current Kraft Heinz page for the 12 oz pack names sorbic acid as a preservative.[^kh-wa12]
