Hermann Scherchen's 1959 recording of Bach's Mass in B minor with Pierrette Alarie, Nan Merriman, Léopold Simoneau and Gustav Neidlinger was made for Westminster and issued on LP as WST 304.[^wp-scherchen] Discogs groups its editions under one master: the 1960 stereo LP and reel, an ABC reissue of 1970, MCA Classics CDs of 1989 and Deutsche Grammophon's 2002 Westminster CD reissue, 471 253-2.[^discogs-master] It is Scherchen's second recording of the work, after a 1950 version with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.[^bach-cantatas]
