(上海国盛（集团）有限公司, "Guosheng Group", SGG) is a Shanghai state capital investment and operating company, established in September 2007 with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. Its registered and paid-in capital is 20.066 billion yuan and it is registered and works at No. 137 Xingfu Road in Changning, Shanghai; the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission is its controlling shareholder and actual controller, holding 100 % of the capital.[^gsgbond] The group describes its own role as a state capital investment and operating platform working on two lines, operating the assets it holds and investing directly in industry.[^gsgsite]
