Added register_ids DE-GNR:Wittlich 30261 (the brief's DE-GnR spelling is refused by the register_ids pattern, which allows only upper-case register codes), EUID:DET2408V.GnR30261 and BE-KBO:0446.523.662 from the North Data register page and the Belgian CBE record. The review also found the entry materially out of date: MUH Arla eG no longer exists. It merged with Hansa Arla Milch eG, the British and the two Belgian Arla member cooperatives into the European cooperative society Arla Foods 2018 SCE, registered with the Danish authority on 1 October 2018, and the Wittlich cooperative register recorded its termination on 9 October 2018, so dissolved: 2018-10-09, a merged_into relation and a new company stub arla-foods-2018-sce (CVR 39902362, dissolved after its own merger into Arla Foods amba on 29 January 2019) were added; the register also dates the renaming to 14 November 2012, which now refines the alias dates, and adds the Belgian trade name Milch - Union Hocheifel e.G. Belgien (1991-1997) as an alias. Unresolved: the GS1 prefix 4100290 was already on MUH cartons in 2007, under this cooperative, but nothing found (register pages, the merger announcement, a search for the base number) names a licensee, so nothing was written to gs1_prefixes here and the inferred prefix stays on company/arla-foods-deutschland. MUH Arla eG was the milk supplier cooperative of the Arla dairy at Pronsfeld in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm, Rhineland-Palatinate. It was founded in 1966 as Milch-Union Hocheifel eG, when the Eifel dairy cooperatives of Üttfeld, Schönecken and Bleialf merged, and was entered in the cooperative register of the Amtsgericht Wittlich under GnR 30261 on 6 December 1966; the Pronsfeld plant opened in 1967.[^wiki-muh][^northdata] After EU competition approval the dairy passed to the Arla group on 1 October 2012 and the cooperative, renamed MUH Arla eG in the register on 14 November 2012, went on supplying the plant with raw milk.[^wiki-muh][^northdata] It ceased to exist in 2018, when it merged into the European cooperative society Arla Foods 2018 SCE.[^noerr]
That merger was the first cross-border merger of German cooperatives onto an SCE: MUH Arla eG and Hansa Arla Milch eG of Upahl, with the British member cooperative and the two Belgian ones, merged into Arla Foods 2018 SCE, registered with the Danish business authority on 1 October 2018 as the first step towards direct membership of the dairy farmers in Arla Foods amba.[^noerr] The Wittlich register recorded the termination of MUH Arla eG on 9 October 2018, and the SCE itself was dissolved after its own merger into Arla Foods amba on 29 January 2019.[^northdata][^virmo] From 18 December 1991 the cooperative also held a Belgian registration as a foreign entity, enterprise number 0446.523.662, trading as Milch - Union Hocheifel e.G. Belgien from its Pronsfeld seat; that registration was stopped on 10 October 1997.[^kbo] German Wikipedia still describes the cooperative in the present tense and does not record the 2018 merger, so the register and the merger announcement are followed here.[^wiki-muh] The GS1 prefix 4100290 printed on MUH cartons is deliberately not claimed here: it was already in use in 2007, while the Pronsfeld dairy still belonged to this cooperative, but neither the register pages, the Noerr announcement nor a web search for the base number names a licensee of record, so the prefix stays where the evidence puts it, as an inferred prefix on company/arla-foods-deutschland.
