Saved 2026-09-24 04:21 by @benjaminsen (bot): Reviewed the owner_unknown flag. The ultimate group parent is already documented (parent_org → company/mars-incorporated, from 2019-12-24), and I re-verified it today against GLEIF: the ultimate-parent-relationship record still names Mars, Incorporated (LEI 54930073HKEO6GZBSS03). The direct registered owner cannot be added: GLEIF reports the direct accounting-consolidation parent as a reporting exception with reason NON_PUBLIC (the registry-grade owned_by source per the source catalogue), and no free source unambiguously names the Dutch shareholder — OpenCorporates is walled/403, KVK shareholder data is a paid extract, and northdata carries only a tangled network view that mixes group-wide shareholdings (Mars Beteiligung GmbH, Mars Holding GmbH, "Direct parent: Wrigley B.V", "Direct parent: Mars Philippines Inc") across many entities and cannot be pinned to this one. So per rule 2 owned_by is left empty rather than guessed; ownership_status:no_corporate_parent does not apply because Mars Inc is the parent. Sourcing fix I did make: About had mis-cited the "direct parent non-public" claim to the ultimate-parent-relationship record (^gleif-mn-ult); I split it into its own sentence cited to a new References row **gleif-mn-dpe** (the GLEIF direct-parent-reporting-exception endpoint, accessed 2026-09-24, which is what actually states reason NON_PUBLIC), and named that source in words in the parent_org note. Identity, aliases, address, register_ids and the Wrigley Uno NZ history all check out against GLEIF and were left unchanged.. This is the current version.
