Krause Publications is an American publisher of hobby magazines and books, founded in Iola, Wisconsin, by Chester L. Krause in 1952 with Numismatic News.[^wiki-krause] Krause moved into collector cars with Old Cars Weekly in 1971 and Old Cars Price Guide in 1977.[^scm-krause]

F+W (then F&W Publications) acquired Krause in June 2002, when it published 46 periodicals and had nearly 750 books in print, and continued it as an imprint.[^wiki-krause] When F+W's assets were sold through bankruptcy auctions in June 2019, Penguin Random House acquired the book publishing assets and the Krause brand, and the magazines were divided among different buyers.[^wiki-krause]
