About no longer says the business was run by "Glenayre Technologies, Inc. - later EDCI Holdings, Inc.": it now says Glenayre Technologies, Inc. renamed itself Entertainment Distribution Company, Inc. with effect from 10 May 2007 by a section 253 merger of a wholly owned subsidiary into itself, and that that corporation became a wholly owned subsidiary of the newly formed EDCI Holdings, Inc. on 25 August 2008 - two corporations, not one renamed twice - matching the page's own owned_by and parent_org rows and the sibling pages company/entertainment-distribution-company-inc and company/edci-holdings. Both filings are now cited: new References rows sec-8k-name (the May 2007 name-change 8-K) and sec-8k-reorg (the August 2008 reorganisation 8-K), both fetched and read. Dated the relations accordingly: owned_by from 2005-05, parent_org from 2008-08-25, with the notes saying what each filing does and does not establish. Tightened summary, which read "majority owned by EDCI Holdings" (EDCI held 97.99 % only indirectly) to name the direct holder, Entertainment Distribution Company, Inc. Added that Wikipedia's "previous name was Glenayre Technologies" is true of the corporation above this one, and that the 2017 auction followed the 2011 sale of the German plant company. New References row wikidata-edc explains why no wikidata id is set: Q5380449 is a MusicBrainz-linked "music distribution centre" item, not the record of any one of the three legal entities. Every other fact was verified against the filings and kept unchanged: the $26.0 million Sony DADC sale announced 31 October and closed 31 December 2008, the Kings Mountain plant listed for sale since the second quarter of 2009 and the up-to-$7.3 million of liquidating proceeds in the June 2010 10-Q, the July 2006 Blackburn acquisition, the 20 March 2009 consolidation decision and the 7 January 2010 liquidation vote. Nothing was removed. Still unresolved and said so in About: no Delaware register entry, so no formation date, registered office or dissolution date, and no reusable logo. Entertainment Distribution Company, LLC is the Delaware company that holds the optical disc business bought from Universal Music Group in May 2005; exhibit 21.1 to the 2009 annual report gives its jurisdiction of organisation as Delaware.[^sec-10k][^sec-ex21] The buyer above it was Glenayre Technologies, Inc., which renamed itself Entertainment Distribution Company, Inc. with effect from 10 May 2007, by merging a wholly owned subsidiary into itself under section 253 of the Delaware General Corporation Law for that sole purpose, and which became a wholly owned subsidiary of the newly formed EDCI Holdings, Inc. when the holding-company reorganisation was consummated on 25 August 2008.[^sec-8k-name][^sec-8k-reorg] Those are two corporations, not one company renamed twice, and both have their own page here.
