Engarrafamento Pitú Ltda. is the Brazilian bottler of Pitú cachaça in Vitória de Santo Antão, Pernambuco. A 2002 citation of the company's own site dates its founding to 28 May 1938, when Joel Candido Carneiro, Severino Ferrer de Morais and José Ferrer de Morais set it up as S. Candido e Cia. It became J. Candido e Cia in 1940 and took its present name in 1948.[^rumcz]
