Companies House records it as incorporated in England and Wales on 18 July 1974, active, registered at 20 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London SW1V 2SA under SIC code 58110, book publishing, and carrying the name Dorling Kindersley Holdings Limited between June 1985 and April 1991.[^ch-dk] Its own site describes a publisher selling in 63 languages with offices in London, New York, Toronto, Indianapolis, Delhi, Melbourne, Munich, Madrid, Beijing and Jiangmen.[^dk-about] Penguin Random House Limited, Companies House 734421, is the sole active person with significant control, holding 75 per cent or more of the shares and of the voting rights since 6 April 2016.[^ch-dk-psc]
