Distribution & Marketing GmbH is the Salzburg holding company through which the Mateschitz side of Red Bull is held: it is one of the three shareholders the Austrian Firmenbuch lists for Red Bull GmbH, entered on 29 April 1997, and the 2009 KommAustria decision licensing Red Bull TV puts its holding at 49 %.[^rtr] The company itself was entered in the Firmenbuch of the Landesgericht Salzburg on 8 July 1993 under FN 36878 h, sits at Nonntaler Hauptstraße 36 in Salzburg and has a fully paid share capital of EUR 300,000.[^evi-dm][^rtr] That 2009 decision records Dietrich Mateschitz as its sole managing director and sole owner.[^rtr] Since 14 April 2023 the register names his son Mark Mateschitz as the only shareholder, a natural person, so no company stands above it; Florian Hutter has been managing director since 7 December 2022.[^evi-dm]
