## About <!--about-->
Corsair Gaming, Inc. (stylised CORSAIR) is an American computer peripherals and hardware company headquartered in Milpitas, California, traded on Nasdaq as CRSR.[^wiki] It was incorporated in California in January 1994 as Corsair Microsystems by Andy Paul, Don Lieberman and John Beekley, was later known as Corsair Memory and Corsair Components, and was reincorporated in Delaware in 2007.[^wiki]

It began with level 2 cache modules for OEMs, moved to DRAM modules once Intel put the L2 cache into the Pentium Pro, and from 2002 shipped memory aimed at enthusiasts and overclockers before adding power supplies, cooling, cases, storage and gaming peripherals.[^wiki] Wikipedia names EagleTree Capital as holder of 56.8 % and lists Elgato, Origin PC, Drop, Fanatec and SCUF Gaming as subsidiaries.[^wiki]
