1847 Founders Capital LLC is the investment company of Edward J. Tobin, one of the two key personnel of 1847 Partners LLC, the New York investment firm that manages the listed 1847 Holdings LLC and that bought the European Cinram group in 2017. It is owned by Mr. Tobin, with no company above it, and holds 38 per cent of 1847 Partners Class A Member LLC and 36 per cent of 1847 Partners Class B Member LLC, the two companies that own the whole of the interests in that firm; Ellery W. Roberts holds the majority of both and is their sole manager.[^1847-10k] A Schedule 13D filed by Mr. Roberts on 9 September 2020 names it as a party, with the manager and its two member companies, to a note and unit purchase agreement of 15 January 2015; in March 2020 it took an option from Mr. Roberts over 997,500 common shares of 1847 Holdings and exercised it on 31 August 2020, paying by assigning to him its rights as lender under that agreement.[^sc13d-roberts]
