Added one References row (`gpc`, the GS1 GPC Browser as the canonical home of publication 286, record_id 68000000, locator Segment), a Meta block, two search aliases splitting the compound name (Audio Visual, Photography), and a five-paragraph About. **Why the stub had nothing to inherit:** GS1 publishes its "includes" and "excludes" definitions only at brick level, so `gpc/68000000` and all five of its families return an empty `definition`; the About describes the contents rather than inventing one. **Structure, walked programmatically over the gpc mirror:** five families, 17 classes, 165 bricks - Audio Visual Equipment (7 classes, 79 bricks), Photography/Optics (4, 36), Audio Visual Media (2, 25), In-car Electronics (3, 24), and a fifth family holding only the segment-level variety pack. **The paragraph I judged most useful to this site concerns Audio Visual Media**, because that is where the corpus's CDs classify, and its governing rule is that the medium picks the brick rather than the content: one album is 10001459 on disc, 10001462 on vinyl, 10001464 on cassette and 10006239 as a download, with films splitting the same way across 10001460, 10008494 and 10006241. The CD brick's excludes are correspondingly narrow, and the About names the trap explicitly - an audio book on disc is not 10001459 but brick 10004103 Audio Books, in the Books class of segment 60000000. I verified that brick and its parent chain before asserting it; my first draft had claimed the exclusions each had bricks elsewhere without checking the audio-book case, which happened to be true but was unverified when written. **Two further findings recorded:** the codes in this family record the order formats arrived, with the disc and cassette run at 10001459-10001466, Dual Discs appended at 10003718, the digital block at 10006239-10006245 and Blu-ray last at 10008494, the highest brick code in the segment; and storage divides medium from device across segments, since floppy discs are 10001456 here while floppy disc drives are 10001132 in Computing, with memory cards and USB flash drives also filed here. The About also notes that obsolete vocabulary stays live - MiniDisc decks, video cassette recorders, analogue cameras, film, slide projectors and a full darkroom class. **Deliberately not done:** no `## Relations` section, since all five families already exist carrying `parent: category/68000000`; no `off_category` crosswalk; no corpus counts in the prose, though it is worth recording here that this segment has three products beneath it, all CDs on brick 10001459, whose class and family pages were both Identity-only stubs. The one cited source is the GPC Browser, a JavaScript application returning about seventeen readable characters to a server-side fetch, so it is citable as the location of publication 286 but nothing can be quoted from it; every structural fact above comes from this site's own GPC mirror. | |
