Added one References row (`gpc`, the GS1 GPC Browser as the canonical home of publication 286, record_id 65000000, locator Segment), a Meta block, two search aliases (Computers, Video Games, both drawn from GS1's own family name Computers/Video Games), and a four-paragraph About. **Why the stub had nothing to inherit:** GS1 publishes its "includes" and "excludes" definitions only at brick level, so `gpc/65000000` and its family both return an empty `definition`; the About describes the contents rather than inventing a definition. **Structure, walked programmatically over the gpc mirror:** the whole segment hangs from one family, Computers/Video Games, holding ten classes and 90 bricks - Accessories 17, Networking 13, Peripherals 11, Computers, Components and Drives 10 each, Control/Input 8, Software 6, Video Game Consoles 4, and a class holding only the family's variety-pack brick. **The finding I judged worth most of a paragraph:** the brick codes here record the order the vocabulary grew rather than any grouping. The original block runs 10001107 to roughly 10001370 and still enumerates Floppy Disc Drives, Zip/Jaz Disk Drives, Tape Drives/Streamers, Swap Drives, Personal Digital Assistants and Electronic Organisers; everything added since is appended at the far end instead of inserted in place, which is why Tablets/E-Book Readers is 10006276, All-in-One is 10006405, Smart Watches is 10006743 and the two digital-delivery software bricks are 10006235 and 10006236. That explains the segment's odd 10001107-10006745 brick range, and it carries two classification consequences I recorded because they are easy to get wrong: a smart watch files under Computers rather than with watches, and software has separate physical and digital bricks, so the delivery medium picks the brick, not the software's title. **Continuity with the previous pages:** the About closes with the same numbering rule (levels one to three segment-prefixed, bricks not) and the variety-pack ladder, noting the family brick 10001370 and the cross-segment escape to 10000624. **Deliberately not done:** no `## Relations` section, since the family already exists carrying `parent: category/65000000`; no `off_category` crosswalk; and no corpus counts in the prose, though it is worth recording here that this segment has two products beneath it on the site - the Zalman ZM-F1 fan via brick 10001121 and the Nintendo DS Lite via 10003818 - and both chains resolve cleanly to the segment. The one cited source is the GPC Browser, a JavaScript application returning about seventeen readable characters to a server-side fetch, so it is citable as the location of publication 286 but nothing can be quoted from it; every structural fact above comes from this site's own GPC mirror. | |
