Includes any products described/observed as a solid mass of tallow, stearin, wax or other fatty substance that has a wick running through the centre. When the wick is lit, a flame results from the melted grease. Although some candles are purely functional as a light source, the large majority are used as a means to decorate and add ambience to the home, garden or used for religious/spiritual purposes to decorate graves and churches.
