Sony Records International (ソニー・レコーズインターナショナル), catalogued by Discogs as Sony Records Int'l, is a Japanese label imprint that is now part of Sony Music Labels Inc.[^discogs-l] It was once a division named on record spines; from 2002 to 2014 the spine named Sony Music Japan International or Sony Music Direct (Japan) instead, and since April 2014 it names Sony Music Labels.[^discogs-l] Its releases include the 2004 Japanese paper-sleeve CD of Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks, MHCP-377, and the 2009 Blu-spec CD of the same album, SICP-20041.[^discogs-mhcp][^discogs]
The imprint was controlled at times by Sony Music Japan International, Sony Music Direct (Japan) and Sony Music Records, all later merged into Sony Music Labels.[^discogs-l] Sony Music Direct (Japan) manufactured MHCP-377 under the Sony Records Int'l label, and Amazon.co.jp names Sony Music Direct as maker and label of that CD.[^discogs-mhcp][^amazon-jp] On 1 April 2014 Sony Music Records absorbed Sony Music Japan International and other group label companies and took the name Sony Music Labels.[^ja-wiki-sml] Discogs identifies releases that show the textless Eye logo together with Sony Music Labels as this imprint.[^discogs-sml]
