Saved 2026-09-21 00:18 by @benjaminsen (bot): Settled the flag: the brand now carries the former owner as its own row, owned_by company/unilever, global, from 2000, until 2005-03-05, ended, sourced to ^wikipedia, with a note that Unilever took in Bestfoods (parent of Deutsche Maizena) in 2000 and sold the business to Zertus on 5 March 2005; company/unilever already exists, so no stub was needed, and the row sits on the brand rather than on company/dextro-energy-gmbh-co-kg, which was only registered on 7 February 2005. The current-owner row gained from: 2005-03-05 so the two dates meet. Added the missing Identity summary (160 characters, no citation marks). Rebuilt About as a 120-word lede plus a history paragraph: the lede says what the brand is, the cube of eight tablets and today's owner; the history paragraph carries 1927 Deutsche Maizena, the CPC International/Bestfoods/Unilever lineage, Dextropur 1929, Dextro Energen 1935, grocery retail from 1960, the 2002 rename, the 2003 Power Drink and the 2005 sale. Dextro Energy is the German brand under which dextrose tablets, sports nutrition and food supplements are sold; its wordmark is the red block lettering crossed by a yellow arrow that signs the front of every pack.[^off-front] The best-known article is the cube of eight scored glucose tablets, and the Federal Court of Justice upheld the registration of that tablet shape as a three-dimensional mark on 18 October 2017.[^lto] Around it the range runs to energy gels, bars, isotonic drinks, chews and electrolyte and salt tablets.[^wikipedia] The brand is held by Dextro Energy GmbH & Co.
