## About <!--about-->
Spanish brand of soluble cocoa powder, created in 1945 in the Gràcia district of Barcelona by José María Ventura and José Ignacio Ferrero and on sale from 1946 through their firm Nutrexpa.[^wiki-colacao][^wiki-nutrexpa] Its signature is the undissolved "grumitos", the little lumps the natural, non-alkalised cocoa leaves in the glass. A radio jingle of 1952 and television advertising from 1962 made it a fixture of the Spanish breakfast table, and the brand has sponsored the Spanish Olympic team through the ADO programme since 1988.[^wiki-colacao] It is exported to Portugal, Chile, Bosnia and Herzegovina and China, where it is sold as Gao Le Gao, with production lines dedicated to each region and the European line in Barcelona.[^wiki-colacao] Ownership passed to Idilia Foods when the Nutrexpa group was divided between its two founding families with effect from 1 January 2015.[^wiki-idilia]
