Thai seafood producer, established on 17 March 1977 as Asian Pacific Thai Tuna Co, Ltd, renamed Thai Union Frozen Products PLC in 1988 and listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand on 22 November 1994.[1] It operates plants in France, Germany, Ghana, Poland, Portugal, Papua New Guinea, Norway, the Seychelles, Scotland, Vietnam, Thailand and the United States, across tuna, shrimp, sardines, mackerel, salmon, pet food and prepared foods.[1] Its brand portfolio includes Chicken of the Sea in the United States, John West in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, Petit Navire in France, Rügen Fisch in Germany, Mareblu in Italy and King Oscar in Norway, which it acquired in 2014.[1][2] The Norwegian King Oscar site gives a thaiunion.com address for customer contact.[3]
